BioAnimal Health have introduced a range of natural enzymatic products developed by Eurovix srl.In 2002 Eurovix were awarded UNI EN ISO 9001:2000 accreditation. These new products come from Italy where they were developed in co-operation with amongst others the University of Milan. Compounds of enzymes and micro-organisms are selected to accelerate the degradation of waste and promote health and growth in plants. This technology offers natural solutions to many of our current ecological problems.

WHAT IS AN ENZYME?
Enzymes are groups of complex proteins produced by living cells that act as catalysts in specific biochemical reactions. In nature enzymes are found in animal stomachs where they aid the digestion of food, and in the soil where they hasten the break-down of organic matter such as dead animal and plant material. Other enzymes are used in the fermentation of wine, for making bread and in the production of yoghurt.

ENZYMES FOR A BETTER ENVIRONMENT
Laboratories are now able to separate and select specific enzymes and it is therefore possible for us to supply these compounds for the treatment of waste in municipal, industrial and agricultural situations, such as waste water plants, aquaria, refuse collection and livestock farms. Different formulations are used as biological promoters in the production of horticultural crops and turf grass.
